Statement Of Faith

We believe in one God, manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God and that it is the only rule of faith for believers and the Church.

We believe that God is the Creator of the entire universe, of man and of angels.

We believe that sin entered the world through the disobedience of the first man, Adam, and every man is born in sin, having need of salvation.

We believe that God's grace makes human salvation possible through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and the benefits of this sacrifice is gained only through faith and repentance.

We believe the new birth of man is the work of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit continues to work in the believer's life by giving him power to do good deeds (to bear fruit) and to live a holy life.

We believe that water baptism is for those who have turned to God and are born again, and must be done in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This is the act whereby the believer is integrated into the church.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience of new birth and baptism in water, an experience in which the believer receives power to serve. This should be followed by repeated fillings.

We believe that the act of salvation was instituted by Jesus and that He is the Head of the Church in which believers take communion with our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the continuity of supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit, through the gifts that He divides to the faithful, used to build up the Church.

We believe in the priesthood of all believers, but also in the special calling of believers to serve as laborers in the work ordained for them.

We believe in the sanctity of the family as an institution ordained by God through the act of marriage.

We believe the Church's ultimate mandate is to take the gospel to the ends of the earth and that this mandate must be accomplished by the effort of all its members.

We believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Church to rapture the church, the resurrection of the dead, the judgement day, and in man's eternal destiny in God's Paradise or Hell, separated forever from God.
